Mojave Merchant Called by Death
Sherman T. Ewing, 69, of 523 K street, Mojave, died at his home yesterday. He was a native of Springfield, Mo., and has been a resident of the Mojave district for 15 years. He was a merchant.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Tina Ewing, of Mojave, a daughter, Mrs. Juanita Carroll, San Francisco; two brothers, Hardaman Ewing of Kansas City; four sisters, Mrs. Ida Stovall, of Mojave; Mrs. Laura Elsey of Los Angeles, Mrs. Lizzie Russell of Arkansas, and Mrs. Myrtle Galloway, of Canada.
Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Community Church in Mojave with the Reverend Judson Oldfield officiating. Interment will be in Mojave Cemetery. Hopson Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
