Last Rites For Old Resident
Funeral services for Leon Etter, a resident of Mojave for more than 20 years were held at the O'Donnell Funeral Chapel Wednesday morning, August 22, at 10 a. m. with the Rev. James L. Barber officiating.
Mr. Etter was found dead last Friday morning in his trailer house, adjacent to the Mobil gas station which he has operated for many years. Death was the result of natural causes although an autopsy had been performed. His late wife's mother, Mrs. Touchstone, discovered the body when she was informed that he had not been seen around the station since Thursday night.
Interment in the Mojave cemetery followed the services at which Mrs. Leamis Richardson was musician and vocalist.
