Mr. Max Enderle a resident of the desert for 40 years who lived in Mojave from 1900 to 1912 passed away at Bakersfield hospital Jan. 10 where he was taken following a heart attack suffered at his Antelope Valley home the second, Born in Germany 74 years ago he came to this country in his youth and was a pioneer stock rancher in this vicinity raising cattle and horses. Graveside services were conducted at Mojave cemetery Saturday afternoon with Rev. Judson Oldfield officiating. His three children who survive are Max Endrele Jr. of Stockton, Dr. Mina Ashley and Mrs. Edna Harvey of Los Angeles.
