James Adams, superintendent of the Silver Lyck mine, Eureka, Nev., and member of the Nevada legislature, died in the city hospital from a pistol shot wound received from Adolph Schander, mailing clerk of the San Francisco Evening Bulletin. The parties quarreled in a saloon about business affairs.
