The Franklin Repository of June 21, 1899, reported the death of Israel Bollinger, farmer, in Pleasant Hall. He was survived by his widow, Mary; children Newton, Lula (Mrs. D. Newton Minick), and Mrs. Whitfield Bishop; and siblings Benjamin, Urias, George, Mrs. Mary Thrush, Jacob. Interment at Salem Cemetery.
