Nellie was born January 10, 1931 in Youngstown, a daughter of the late Michael and Patrina (DiMaggio) Congemi.
Nellie retired from St. Elizabeth Medical Center having worked in food service.
She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and was an avid bingo player.
Her husband Robert T. Boak Sr., whom she married October 29, 1955, passed away August 17, 2009.
Nellie will be sadly missed by her sons: Robert T. Boak of Austintown, Charles H (Taren) Boak of Columbus and Michael J. Boak of Dayton; one sister Faye Burnich of Austintown; one brother Charles (Rita) Congemi of Youngstown; three grandchildren: Daniel P. Boak, Brittany N. Boak and Chad M. Boak; and one great grandson Jaxon R. Boak.
Besides her parents and husband, Nellie is preceded in death by a grandson Robert D. Boak and a brother Carl Congemi.
