A Ardie Anderson 65 of rural Grinnell died at his home early Wednesday morning. Burial in the Hazelwood Cemetery, Grinnell, Iowa.
Ardel Anderson was the son of John Rdell and Sophia Ella Wickless Anderson.
He was married to Jettie Minear on August 18, 1923 at Palmyra, Marion County, Missouri. They were the parents of three children Martha Ellen, Richard E and Bill J.
Following their marriage they lived on a farm near Glenwood, Schuyler County, Missouri until they move to the Grinnell area in 1939. They have lived in Washington Township, Poweshiek County since 1946.
Ardie loved the out of doors and was fond of his dogs which were trained for fox hunting.
