Jennie was James Stiles' first wife. They married in 1869, and soon moved to a farm in Liberty Township, Marshall County, WV, just outside Cameron, WV. About 1871, they moved to Deep Valley, Springhill Township, Greene County, PA, where Jennie gave birth to their only child, James, Jr. Jennie, only 20 years old, died before the year was out, and was buried beside the plot where her husband would one day rest. Their son is buried next to her.
