Under the name spelling of Christian Andresen, b ca 1820 in Holstein. Married Dora, who was born ca 1824 in Holstein died on March 3, 1890 in Blair and is also interred in Block 37 of Blair cemetery.
According to Vig, Christian traveled to Brazil in 1848, came to Nebraska in 1855, and by 1880, he and his wife were running a saloon-hotel in Fort Calhoun.
The Andresens later opened a brickyard in Blair; the first there.
