Funeral services for Mrs. Bertha R. Parker, 84, a 12 year resident of Mojave, will be held this morning, Thursday, June 30 at 10:30 a.m. in the Stickel Mortuary Chapel
Mrs. Parker was born Oct. 11, 1892, in Columbus, Ohio, and passed away June 24 while visiting in Los A1amitos. She made her home at 115351 Shirley St. She married Frank N. Parker on Aug. 12, 1909, in Uroveton, N.H., and he preceded her in death in 1970. They first came to California in 1929.
Mrs. Parker is survived by two sons, Frank S. Parker, Mojave, and Karton O. Parker, Corona; four daughters, Brittie Yaw, Mojave; Linda Ball, Stanton; Muriel Byers, Oxnard; Beatrice DeArmond, Anaheim; sixteen grandchi1dren; thirty-two great grandchildren and seven great great grandchildren.
The Rev. Lewis L. Wakeland. Tehachapi Community Church, will officiate with interment to follow in the E. Kern Cemetery at Mojave.
Pallbearers will be Bob Byers, Jr., Ray Byers, Martin Yaw, Don Nelson, Clifford Parker and Frank Yaw. Stickel Mortuaries have been in charge of services.
