Barbara Jean Snyder Pear
Barbara was born on March 24, 1920 in the small town of Mullenville, Kansas, which was founded in 1884 by her grandfather, Heram Brown. Barbara graduated from high school with honors and went on to complete her nursing degree at St. Andrews in Dodge City, Kansas. She served during WWII as a Navy nurse. She married Norman Pear in 1944. They lived in Mojave, California since 1965.
She is survived by her children, Norma, Tom, Paula, Jan and Anne;her brother Jack Snyder of Alice, Texas; 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Her husband Norman predeceased her in 1997. She was also preceeded in death by a grandchild Bradye White.
