In 1866 she married William M. Dills. She was a native of Lexington, Kentucky, and who, previous to her marriage was a teacher in the high schools of Louisville, Kentucky. They were married by the Rev. Dr. Craig at Louisville. They are now the parents of 5 children, 4 of whom are now living, viz.; Florence, Lena M., Mattie B. and Clara.
