Funeral Held For Mojave Resident
Funeral services were held in the Community Congregational Church at 11 a. m. today for Mrs. Thelma Curtion of Mojave who died Friday In Kern General Hospital following an extended illness. Born in Columbus, Kansas, October 4, 1904, Mrs. Curtion was married February 18, 1922, to John V. Curtion and was the mother of five children, two of whom are deceased.
Mrs. Curtion is survived by her husband, John W. Curtion, 3 daughters, Myralynn Jean, 13, Norma Lee, 9, and Dana. Lou, 7, her mother, Mrs. Flora Staton, two brothers, Neal and Norman Staton and four sisters, Mrs. Norma Gibbs, Mrs. Freda Albro and the Misses Ruby and Dolores Staton.
Following services at which Rev. W. J. Oldfield officiated, the body was interred in the Mojave cemetery.
