TWO MOJAVE RESIDENTS LOSE LIVES IN AUTO
Memorial services for Mr. and Mrs. Ira Pixley of Mojave who were fatally injured in an auto accident near Pearblossom last Monday are pending at Stickel Mortuary. date and time may be obtained by calling the mortuary. .
Ira A. Pixley, age 71, was born Nov. 14, 1897 in Des Moines, Ia. He was a World War I veteran and in early life was an employment official for the Veterans Administration.
Ethel Susan Pixley, 77, was born in Childress, Tx on Dec. 24, 1891. She and her husband resided in a trailer at Haven of Rest Trailer Park, Mojave, for the past year.
They are survived by two daughters Mrs. Evelyn Marion of Mojave and Mrs. Dora McCracken of Downfield, Tx.; three sons Donald of Corona, Woodrow of St. Joseph, Mo., and Wilson of Barger, Tx.; also six grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
