Services For Thomas A. Cook

Funeral services for Thomas A. Cook, 72, were held in Mojave on July 23, at the Stickel Mortuaries Chapel.
Mr. Cook was a native of Gonzales, Texas, born there Sept. 9th, 1900. He had been a resident of California for 54 years, and was a retired bottler for Lucky Lager Brewing Co. in Los Angeles. He had moved to Mojave from the Barstow area in November, 1972, and made his home at 15363 Nadene St.
Surviving are his wife, Maud Leigh, at the horne; a son, James D. Cook, Walnut Creek; two step-sons, Al1an Putnam, Sonora, and Navy Lt. Cmdr. Wm. Putnam, Pensacola Florida; a sister, Mrs. Peggy Hassett, San Jose, and 11 grand-children.
Services were conducted by Rev. Billy Washburn, First Baptist Church of Mojave. Interment was in Mojave Cemetery.
Stickel Mortuaries had charge of arrangements.
