Mrs. Ruth Collins Services Held
Funeral services for Mrs. Ruth A. Collins, 62 were held Tuesday, Sept. 7th.
Mrs. Collins was born in Michigan on June 22, 1909. She passed away in a Lancaster hospital of natural causes
On Sept. 5th. She made her home in Mojave at 15962 M St. Mrs. Collins first came to California in 1921, and had
resided in Mojave since 1943.
She is survived by her husband, Clarence, at the home; a son, David; Porterville; a daughter, Ruth McDermott, Claremone, Ca.; her mother, Mrs. Mary Blodgett, of Mojave and three grandchIldren.
The 3:00 p.m. services in the Stickel Mortuaries Chapel were conducted by the Rev. John Prentice of : he First Baptist Church, Cal City. Interment was in Mojave Cemetery. Stickel Mortuaries had charge of arrangements.
