Funeral services for Mrs. Kate Miner, 74, of Laporte, who passed away at the Bemidji Lutheran Hospital Sunday, was held Wednesday at 2 o'clock at the McGrath & Pickett funeral chapel. Dr. Crawford Grays of the Methodist church officiated, and interment was made in Greenwood.
The Miners have been residents of Laporte for the past 8 years, formerly residing in Blue Earth. Surviving are her husband, Alfred Miner, and five children, Claude of Berkley, CA, Leon of Long Beach, CA, Clifford of Grand Forks, Mrs. Zelma Schutt of Sleepy Eye, and Mrs. Grace Forbes of Laporte; also 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
