Graveside services for John H. Sell, 68, of 16163 I Street were held Wednesday, Aug 10 at 10:30 a.m. Born July 20, 1909 in Hooper, Wash., he had lived in Mojave the past 18 years.
Mojave Elks Lodge 2059 will have charge of the services for the brother who passed away on Aug. 7 in a Lancaster hospital.
Mr. Sell saw military service in World War II with the Army Air Corps and further service in the Air Force in the Korean War. He had been a custodian at the Mojave postoffice for the past 12 years.
Survivors include two brothers Francis I., Modesto; Forrest, Lake Isabella; five sisters, Flora Meddendorf, Nora McNichols, Flavel Cameron, all of Washington; Grace Laramore, Oregon and Ava Heath, Calif.
Stickel Mortuaries were in charge of arrangements.
