Funeral services for Aubrey L. Shelburne, 63, were held on Jan. 28, 1974.
Mr. She1burne was pronounced dead on arrival at a Boron hospital on Jan. 24, after being stricken at his home, 13420 Gilbert St., No. Edwards. He was born on April 21, 1910, Kerrville, Texas. He had lived in Kern County for 25 years, and was employed as a security guard for Consolidated Facilities at Edwards Air Force Base.
He served in the Army in WW II, reaching the rank of Sgt.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, at the home; and a brother, Brig. Gen. Charles W. 'Shelburne (Ret.), U.S. Marine Corps, Kerrville, Texas.
The Rev. Fred M. DeBerry, No. Edwards First Baptist Church, officiated at the 11 a.m. services. Interment was in the Mojave Cemetery. Stickel Mortuaries were in charge of arrangements.
