Bobbie Newton Kingry, 87, of Marianna died Monday. The service will be at 11 a.m. CDT (noon EDT) Friday at James & James Funeral Home, Maddox Chapel (850-482-2332), with burial at Riverside Cemetery. A native of Houston County, Ala., she was a longtime resident of Jackson County. She was owner and operator of Kingry's Restaurant in Marianna for nearly 40 years and was a past member of Marianna Woman's Club and Marianna Garden Club.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church since 1946 and was active in United Methodist Women's Group. She is survived by a sister-in-law, Alethia Newton of Jacksonville; two nephews, Jerome W. Newton and Robert H. Newton of Jacksonville; and a niece, Pamela S. Moore of Jacksonville.
