Hazel Ellen Moriarty, daughter of James and Margaret Crichton Moriarty, was born June 29, 1896 at Milton, Wis., and died at the home of her mother north of Milton Junction, Wis., Friday, January 17, 1919, aged 22 years, after a few days illness with influenza, which was followed by pneumonia.
Hazel had lived practically all her life in this vicinity. She attended the school at Milton Junction from which she graduated with the class of 1916, and the same year, October 19, 1916, she was married to Clarence O. Tiffany of Milton.
Of a bright, sunny disposition she made friends wherever she went, and the news of her death came as a shock to them all.
She leaves to mourn, besides her husband, her mother, Mrs. Margaret Moriarty, a sister, Miss Annie Moriarty, and her grandmother, Mrs. Ellen Moriarty.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at 1:30 from the home and at 2:00 from the Milton Junction M. E. church, Pastor Hamilton officiating, and interment was made in the Milton Junction cemetery.
