Born in Bell, California on March 1, 1942 to the late Illinois natives Gilbert and Lucille (Knudson) Johnsen, she was raised and educated in Downey where she is a 1958 graduate of Downey High School. Shortly following their graduation Sharon and her high school sweetheart Troy Lee Clark were united in matrimony on July 6th, 1958. To this union three daughters and three sons were born.
The newlyweds settled in San Diego area until moving to Quincy in 1976.
First and foremost a loving wife, mother and grandmother once the children were grown Sharon went to work for Safeway Corporation in their Quincy store where she became Deli Manager retiring in 2002. She could be found at her husband's side as together they followed their grand and great grandchildren's dance recitals and sporting events. She loved to cook especially sharing her talent helping out with events with the Quincy Volunteer Fire Department, as well as finding relaxation in reading and playing solitaire.
In passing Sharon leaves her children; Jeff Clark and his wife Linda of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Michael Clark and his wife Bonnie, Cheryl and her husband Robert Downing all of Sparks, NV, Julie Clark and her life partner Mona Sanchez of Quincy, and Kelly Clyne and her husband Josh of San Clemente, CA along with the jewels of her later life, her seventeen grand and nine great grandchildren. She is also survived by twin brothers; Donald Johnsen of Memphis, TN and Phillip Johnsen of St Louis, Missouri.
She joins her best friend and love of her life the late Troy L. Clark whom she was married to just days short of 54 years in their eternal home.
