Claude Smith Of Boron dies
Funeral services were held Oct. 5th for Claude Oland Smith of Boron, who passed away at his home as a result of a heart attack on Oct. 2nd.
Rev. Jack Countryman officiated at the 11 a.m. services at Stickel Chapel and burial was in Mojave District Cemetery.
Born at Galena, Kansas on March 26, 1903, Mr. Smith had been in the state and county for six years. He was an employee of the Muroc Unified School District at the time of his death.
Survivors include his wife Juanita, an employee of the Mojave Liquor Store; a brother, Guy Smith of Huntington Beach; a sister, Dixie Linthicum of Pitcher, Okla.; and a brother-in-law, John Carter of Mojave.
