Services For Charlotte Sprague
Graveside services for Charlotte Sprague will be held at the Mojave Cemetery on Jan. 10, 1974.
Mrs. Sprague passed away Jan. 7 in a Bakersfield convalescent hospital, where she had been confined for about two years. She moved to Mojave in 1962 and lived in the Cache Creek area until the death of her husband in 1963. She then made her home in Mojave with her son Mendel "Smitty" Smith.
Mrs. Sprague was born in Kentucky on July 13, 1888, and came to California in 1919, residing in the Los Angeles area.
She is survived by two sons, Mendel of Mojave, and Kirby, Huntington Beach, and a brother, Hondy Westerfield in Kentucky.
The Rev. Henry A. Fowler, Assembly of God Church, will officiate at the 11 a.m. services. Stickel Mortuaries were in charge of arrangements.
