Funeral services were held on Saturday, March 23 for Findley E. Sprague, 80, of Cache Creek Park north of Mojave.
Mr. Sprague was born July 7, 1882 in the State of Ohio, and was retired at the time of his death. He had made his home in the Mojave area for about two years. Survivors include his wife Charlotte and two step-sons, Mendel F. Smith of Cache Creek Park and Ortrie Smith of Los Angeles.
Funeral arrangements for the World War I veteran who died suddenly at his home were conducted by Stickel Mortuary. Services were held in the local chapel with Rev. Jack Courtney officiating.
