Services for Mrs. Sutton
Funeral services for Mrs. Artie Sutton, 84, a 30 year resident of Mojave, will be held on Fri., Jan. 17 at the Stickel Mortuaries Chapel.
Mrs. Sutton was born on Feb. 28, 1890, in Alabama and passed away in a Lancaster Convalescent home on Jan. 13. She made her home at 15972 H Street with her son. Her husband, Hugh Sutton, passed away in 1963. She had lived in Mojave since 1943.
She is survived by her son, W.M. Sutton, Mojave; two sisters Cotie Meadows, Lynnwood, Wash., and Dimple Wisdom, Oklahoma City; a brother, Lester Warlick, Sulligent, Alabama; several nieces and nephews including W.W. Warlick, Mojave; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The Rev. V.L. Malone, Boron Assembly of God Church, will officiate at the 1 p.m. services. Interment will be in the Mojave Cemetery. Stickel Mortuaries will be in charge of arrangements.
