Florence Shallow Taken in Death
Mrs. Florence Margaret Shallow, wife of Frank Swallow, passed away at tlie Edwards Air Force Base Hospital on Dec 26, 1963, at the age of 42.,
She was born in Michigan State on April 16, 1921 as Florence Margaret Wilson and, had lived in Lancaster before coming to Mojave about seven years ago.
She worked as a waitress at White’s Cafe in Mojave for ten years and her husband is a cook at the local café, but due to ill health she had not been working for about a year. .
Services were held at the Stickel Mortuary Chapel on Monday morning, Dec. 31, 1963 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Jack Courtney officiating with burial following in the Mojave Cemetery. Stickel Mortuary was in charge of arrangements.
Surviving are her husband, Frank who resides at the family home at 90th St. and Backus Road; one daughter, Mrs. H. C. Light of Florida; and a sister, Mrs. Fred Brabaw, .of Downey, California.
