Kathryn A. "Katie" Davis

Kathryn Alice "Katie" Moré Davis, 82, of Monticello, Florida, died Sunday, November 18, 2012, in her home.

Mrs. Davis was born in 1930, in Washington, DC, the daughter of the late Rafael Adolfo Moré and Hester Sullivan. She was a graduate of Montgomery College. Mrs. Davis was a retired Contract Officer with the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in Bethesda, Maryland. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lloyd, Florida and Old Bethel United Methodist Church.

Her husband, Winston Edward Davis preceded her in death in 1997.

Surviving are her daughters, Linda Fohl and husband, Dennis ToBell, of Monticello, Florida, Donna Priolo and husband, Ronald, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, Debbie Dwyer and husband, Joseph, of Las Vegas, Nevada, Leslie Savary and husband, Jean Paul, of Silver Spring, Maryland, Melissa Johnson of Fredericksburg, Virginia; ten grandchildren, twenty great grandchildren, and her brother, Daniel P. Moré of Libertytown, Maryland.

Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her step-father, Lawrence W. Sullivan, and two sisters, Margaret Voigt and Mary Mays Smith.

The family will receive friends on Friday afternoon, from 4:00-6:00 PM at Omps Funeral Home, South Chapel.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, at Shenandoah Memorial Park Mausoleum.
