The daughter of Bertha Mae Moore. Rena and her sister Marie Edith Moore was born out of wedlock and raised as daughters to the family of John Marshall Moore.

OBITUARY :
MRS. RENA M. BROWN, 85, of 126 W. Third St., widow of Clifford H. Brown, died at 11:30 p.m. Wednesday shortly after being admitted to the Waynesboro Hospital. She had been in failing health for several months. Her death was attributed to a heart attack.

She was born at Lantz, June 25, 1895. Her early life was lived at Lantz. She and Mr. Brown made their home in the Highfield-Cascade area following their marriage in October, 1914.

Mr. Brown died in April, 1956 and Mrs. Brown had lived in Waynesboro for the past 12 years.

She was a member of the Germantown Bethel Church of God.

She is survived by two daughters and a son Mrs. Roger L. Stouffer, Cape Coral, Fla., Mrs. Phyllis Harrison and Herman Brown, both of Waynesboro. Also surviving are five grandchildren and seven
great-grandchildren.

Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Grove Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. Clair Ebersole. Burial will be in the Bethel Church Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
