Death of Cantil Resident noted
Peter Cassou, 79, a rancher at Cantil for the past 50 years passed away in a Bakersfield hospital on February 26 from natural causes.
A native Californian, he was born December 6, 1883, and was considered an expert cowman
Survivors include his wife Frieda of Cantil, one brother, Eugene of Lancaster, and sister Roxanna of Los Angeles
Services were held in Stickel Chapel on Feb. 26 at 2 p.m. with Rev. R. P. Barron of the Cantil Foursquare Church officiating.
Interment was in Mojave District Cemetery.
