Born in Tigerville, S.C., she was the daughter of the late Clifford C. and Annie Mae Pittman Fore.
Mrs. Beemer was retired from Beemer Metal Works and a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
Surviving are four children, Dorothy "Anita" Beemer of the home, Dr. David B. Beemer and his wife, Dawn, of Easley, Vernon Michael Beemer and his wife, Barbara, of Belton, Texas, and Dr. Charles T. Beemer and his wife, Susan, of Sanford, N.C.; five grandchildren, Brian, Brent and Anna Beemer of Easley, and Zachary and Whitney Beemer of New York; and a sister, Argel F. Ballenger of Mauldin. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Olga F. Babb.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, March 26, 2008, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown. The funeral service will be held Thursday, March 27, 2008, at 3 p.m. in the downtown chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
The family will be at the residence.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethel Baptist Church, 403 Sulphur Springs Road, Greenville, SC 29617.
