Hiram Brubaker Bollinger, 89, formerly of Clay Township, a retired farmer, died at 4 a.m. Monday at Pleasant View Rest Home, Manheim R5, after and illness of one year.
He was a member of Middle Creek Church of the Brethren where he formerly served as a church school treasurer and trustee.
He and his wife, Mary Snyder Doster Bollinger, observed their 67th wedding anniversary on Sept. 11 1978.
Born in and a lifetime resident of Clay Township, he was a son of the late Adam and Annie Brubaker Bollinger.
Besides his wife, also a resident of Pleasant View, he is survived by one daughter, Elizabeth B., wife of Paul Kurtz, Ephrata; three sons, John H., Ephrata; Hiram Jr., Quarryville R4; and Melvin D., Lititz R4; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Anna Fahnestock, Mt. Hope Dunkard Brethren home, Manheim R3.
