Michael Keith Mendizabal
Funeral services will be held Friday at the First Southern Baptist Church in Mojave for Michael Keith Mendizabal, 18, of Mojave, who passed away May 15th from injuries suffered in a May 5th traffic accident.
Michael, who planned to marry his fiancee Mary Avila next summer, was born November 27, 1985, in Northridge. He loved watching the Raiders and Dodgers and listening to music and dancing.
He is survived by his parents Otto and Denise Mendizabal, sisters Jessica and Jaime, and many cousins, aunts, uncles, two grandmothers, and a great-grandfather.
A graduate of Mojave High School in 2003, Michael worked for Carls Jr. and Pittsburg Paint and Glass.
Graveside services at Mojave Cemetery will follow the church service.
“Michael was and always will be the best thing that ever happened to his family.”
