KEARNEY - A. Doug Merryman, 55, of Kearney died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013, at his home.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Horner Lieske McBride & Kuhl Funeral and Cremation Services with the Rev. Eric Lesher officiating. Burial will be at Kearney Cemetery.
He was born March 4, 1957, in Kearney to Nelson "Buzz" and E. Sue (Hather) Merryman.
Survivors include his father and his friend, Marcia Smith, of Kearney; and sister, Lori Rivera and her friend, Karl Sickinger, of Olney, Md.
He grew up in Kearney and graduated from Kearney High School in 1976, then graduated from Kearney State College.
Doug lived most of his life in Kearney and worked at various occupations.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 2009.
