Mojave Resident Passes Away
Funeral services for Mrs. Mae L. Carter, 59, a 40 year resident of Mojave, were held at the Assembly of God Church on March 1.
Mrs. Carter was born on April 25, 1916, in Web City, Mo., and passed away at the Tehachapi Hospital on Feb. 27. She married her husband, John O. Carter, in 1934, and the couple came to Mojave in 1936. They made their home at 16026
H St.
Besides her husband, Mrs. Carter is survived by two sons, .Ralph, Fullerton, and Eldon, Long Beach; three daughters, Carol S. Rathbun, Mojave; Wanda L..Piatt, Layton, Utah, and Erma L. Johnson, St. Louis, Mo.; a sister, Edna Pierce, Mojave; two brothers, Alfred Tweedy, Spokane, Wn., and Ray Tweedy, Saugus, and eight grandchildren.
The Rev: Doug Pinkston officiated at the 11 a.m. services. Interment followed at the Mojave Cemetery. Stickel Mortuaries were in charge of arrangements.
