Nita Carroll Called To Rest

Mrs. Juanita (Nita) E. Carroll, 76, a resident of Mojave for 28 years, passed away December 3, 1970, in a Lancaster hospital.
Mrs. Carroll, who had resided at 16051 K St., was 1 born in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, on March 8, 1894. She came to Mojave in 1942 _after the death of her husband, Harry N. Carroll at San Francisco in 1941. She had married Mr. Carroll in 1919. She worked for the Red Cross during WW II. She was a member of the Mojave Community Church, the Desert Club, the Mojave Woman's Study Club, and the Mojave Bridge Club.
Mrs. Carroll is survived by a cousin, Carmen Quijada, at the home on K St.,Mojave.
Services were conducted Monday, Dec. 7, 1970, at 11:00 a.m., in the Community Church by the Rev. Jeffrey
Utter. Interment was in the Mojave Cemetery
