Helen Cappello Services Held
Funeral services for Helen G. Cappello were held at the Stickel Mortuary Chapel Feb. 7th, 1972.
Mrs. Cappello was born on Aug. 8, 1926 in Osage, Okla., and passed away in a Bakersfield hospital on Feb. 3. She was 45 at the time of her death.
The family had lived in Mojave for a number of years, moving to Bakersfield in '52. Mrs. Cappello first came to Mojave in 1945, shortly after her marriage in Oklahoma.
She is survived by her husband Albert (Apple); three daughters, Rosetta, Anna Marie and Alberta,,all at the home, and three brothers, Kelly Sutton, Ill. Floyd Sutton, Texas; and Lawrence Sutton, Arizona.
The Rev. James W. Chitty, of Mojave Community Church conducted the 1:00 p.m. services. Interment was in the Mojave Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bill Coffee, Jack Pittman, Leo Matusek, John Sell, Frank Cappello and Curtis Tomlin.
