Howell Cobb Jackson - The funeral of Howell Cobb Jackson, whose death occurred at a sanitarium Thursday, took place from the family home, 352 Peachtree street, yesterday afternoon at 8 o'clock. Rev Dr. Jones of St. Pauls church, officiating. The services were brief, but impressive. The interment was in Oakland Cemetery. A detachment of United Confederate Veterans, Mr. Jackson having been a longtime members of one of the Atlanta camps, was in attendance, manifesting the devotion of the old soldier to his departed companions in arms. The pallbearers were George Speer, Mark W. Johnson, John Heinz, A. H. Alfriend, R. W. Bowles and Wilmer Moore.
