TAAFFE, WILLIAM "WILL" CHRISTOPHER, 21 of Maitland, Florida passed away on Wednesday, September 17, 2008. He was born June 10, 1987 in Winter Park, Florida.
He was the son of Susan Brown Taaffe and Francis B. Taaffe. Will graduated from Winter Park High School in 2005, where he was known as the best anchorman, and for his videos in tv production. He also attended Valencia Community College. He was an avid skateboarder, wakeboarder, and also loved to play video games, paintball, ride roller coasters, snow ski, fireworks, and being outdoors. Will was an avid youth group goer at First Prysbyterian Church of Maitland. He loved hanging out with his great friends who enjoyed his wonderful sense of humor and his crazy skateboarding tricks, especially the Nollie Shu-it, and his genorosity.
Will was preceded in death by his grandparents, W.R. Brown Jr. and Caroline Painter Brown.
He is survived by his mother Susan Brown Taaffe, father Francis B. Taaffe, sister Meredith A. Taaffe, half-brother Vincent F.Taaffe and grandmother Theresa Taaffe. He is also survived by numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, his many wonderful friends, and his cat Oreo.
Visitation at Baldwin Fairchild, East Altamonte Chapel, for friends and family of Will, Susan and Meredith will be Tuesday, September 23 from 5-8pm.
Visitation for Francis Taaffe family is Monday, Septmeber 22, 6-8pm. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 24 at First Presbyterian Church of Maitland at 3pm with Reverand Gerald Iwerks officiating.
