Warren G. "Barney" Jones, 90, passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013. Funeral: 3:30 p.m. Tuesday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home. Warren was born Dec. 15, 1922, in Krum. He grew up in East Texas in Teague and was the last surviving member of a family with 10 children. He worked for his brother for several years and then became an independent contractor. He loved to play dominoes. Survivors: Wife, Jane Jones; daughters, Lynda Blocker and husband, Lee Roy, Kim Deaton and husband, David, Hollie Sadiyeh and husband, Omar, and Tami Bost and husband, Billy; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Jeane Renken; and a multitude of nieces and nephews.
