In this city, on the 4th Inst., of conjestion of the lungs [pulmonary congestion], Earle E., Infant son of Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Dodge, aged six months and eleven days. The sorrow that has fallen upon these parents seems the greater as they were bereft of a son about two years ago under very sad circumstances. Little Earle was an unusually bright, pretty child, and by his affectionate disposition and winsome ways was filling, to a great extent, the place made vacant by the death of the other child. But how evanescent are earthly Joys. For In three short days it sweetly passed away — a bud transplanted to bloom in a fairer clinic. The beareaved parents have the sympathy of the entire community In their great sorrow.
