Funeral services for Sgt. Morris Parnell, son of Rev. & Mrs. H. D. Parnell of Wells, who died Friday as a result of injuries received when his plane crashed near West Point, Kentucky, will be held Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Wells, Tx. at 2 p.m. with Rev. C. R. Meadows of Jacksonville officiating.

The body arrived in Lufkin this morning at 3 a.m. with Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home in charge. Burial will take place in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Wells.

Sgt. Parnell had been attached to the ground crew as mechanic chief in the Air Corps for the past three years. He also saw active service in Puerto Rico, where he was stationed for 14 months.

Survivors include his parents; four brothers, C. H. Parnell, W. M. Parnell, C. C. Parnell and J. B. Parnell; one sister, Mrs J. L. Conaway.
