Funeral services This Saturday

James Orville Watson, 59, passed away Dec. 3 in Sawtelle Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Born Sept. 10, 1908 in Cottonwood Falls, Kansas, he was a veteran of World War' II serving in the U.S. Army, 1053 R. D. Engineers in both Europe and the South Pacific areas.
A 20-year resident of Mojave and Tehachapi, he resided at 302 West C Street and was a construction worker.
Survivors are his widow Irene, son James P., both of Tehachapi; three daughters, Margaret Brantley of Lancaster, Jean Mayberry of Bakersfield, and Alama Potter of Mojave; two sisters, Betty Rounds of Kansas and Faye Smith of Los Angeles.
Services will be held Dec. 9 at 10:30 a.m. in Stickel Mortuary with Rev. E. H. Engel of Hope Lutheran Church officiating.
Interment will be in Mojave Cemetery with Stickel Mortuary handling arrangements.
