Robert G. Westberg, Sr. 64, a 34 year resident of Mojave died Oct. 4 in Tehachapi Hospital. He lived at 16201 I St.
Born August 3, 1906 in Silver City Utah, he spent many years as a miner and for the past 20 years he was employed L. A. Dept. of Water and Power in Mojave.
A California resident for 47 years, he was a member of Mojave Elks Lodge.
Survivors are: wife, Jeanette, Mojave; son Robert G. Lancaster; three daughters. Sonja Potter, Yuma; Lela Bailey, Riverside; Emma J. Crittenden, Van Nuys, one brother, Stanley, Mojave and one sister, Leon Heard, Riverside. Also surviving are 5 grandchildren.
Services were held Oct. 7 at 11:00 a.m. in Stickel Mortuary and Gordon Bunn conducted with Frank Forman, Ardel Talbot and Luther Wigginton , assisting. (Church of Jesus , Christ of Latter Day Saints) ; Eulogy by daughter, Sonia Potter.
