CARL C. O'HARA

Partridge - Carl C. O'Hara 98, died Oct. 26, 1996, at Hutchinson Hospital.

He was born March 19, 1898, at Partridge, the son of Henry Pitt and Sarah Permelia "Melia" Love O'Hara. He graduated from Partridge High School in 1919 and attended Kansas State University, Manhattan. A lifetime Partridge Community resident, he was a retired farmer.

He was a member of Partridge Community Church, Knife & Fork Club, Hutchinson, and served on various farm-related organizations which included Partridge Co-op Equity, Central Kansas Credit Union and Ark Valley Co-op Creamery, both of Hutchinson.

On Oct. 22, 1920, he married Hazel Estella. Anderson at Partridge. She died Dec. 11, 1979. On Feb. 23, 1981 he married Rowena Amerman maxwell at Partridge. She survives.

Other survivors include; a son Duane, Wichita; two daughters, Vada Lewis, Hutchinson, and Glenna Hendershot, Wichita; a stepson, Norman Maxwell, Hutchinson; 11 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Partridge Community Church with Pam Tinnin presiding. Friends may call from 1 to 9 p.m. today and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Elliott Mortuary, Hutchinson. Burial will be in the Partridge Cemetery.
