Funeral .services for Mildred Buchanan, 75, were held at the Stickel Mortuaries Chapel in Mojave on Sept. 28.
Mrs. Buchanan passed away on Sept. 25 in a Carson City, Nevada hospital where she had been confined for several weeks after becoming ill on a trip. She was born in Durant, Miss. on Jan. 13, 1899. She had lived in California since 1933, and was a 12-year resident of Mojave. She made her home at 15855 0 St., with her husband, Robert, who survives. She is also survived by three nieces, Martha Scheideman, Conn., Shirley Rauter, L.A., and Peggy Rees, , Glendale.
The Rev. Lewis Wakeland, Tehachapi Congregational Church, officiated at the 11 a.m. services. Interment was in the Mojave Cemetery.
