Sad death of youth

Jack Brown, 13, who resided at the Eagle Mining camp with his parents, was suddenly taken ill last Thursday. Local physicians diagnosed the case as. typhoid fever changing their diagnosis to pneumonia and finally ordered the boy to the Kern County hospital at Bakersfield where he died Saturday. The complication was such that an
autopsy was ordered performed. The funeral was held Wednesday at which the Elementary School band acted as escort.

In our last issue we incorrectly stated that local doctors had made a diagnosis in the case of Jack Brown, who passed away at the Kern County hospital. The diagnosis was not made until the: boy reached the hospital.
