Rosamond man Killed in roll-over
A middle aged man identified as Shwyler J. Boone of Rosamond was killed and two passengers injured in an accident on Tuesday, Feb. 19 about 10 :30 a.m.
The accident on Mojave-Tropico Rd., four miles west of Rosamond and about one mile north of Rosamond Blvd apparently was caused when the panel truck Mr. Boone was driving ran off the road. As Boone attempted to correct the situation, the car roIled over one and one-half times. The driver was ejected in the accident.
Boone was taken to the Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster by Stickel Ambulance Service where he died about one p.m.
Two passengers in the vehicle, Victor Davison af Rosamond and Ray Merrill of Star Route, Mojave, were taken to a private doctor by Stickel Ambulance.
Funeral arrangements for the deceased are being made Lancaster.
