George Bennett Funeral services Are pending
George W. Bennett passed away suddenly on Wednesday morning, April 23rd in Tehachapi Hospital.
Born March 17, 1895 in Halstad, Mn., he had retired only a month ago after 32 years service with Southern Pacific Railroad. His wife preceeded him in death by only three weeks.
A World War I Navy veteran, George was quite active in community affairs and especially Masonic work, having served twice as Grand Master of Mojave Lodge.
Services are pending at Stickel Mortuary.
