Services For Richard Behrens
Funeral services for Richard W. Behrens, 46, an ll-year resident of Mojave, were held on Nov. 13, 1973 at the Stickel Mortuary Chapel.
Mr. Behrens was born in Otter Trail, Minnesota, on March 6, 1927, and passed away at his home on Nov. 10. He moved to Mojave in 1962, and was a repairman for the California Portland Cement Co. He made his home at 1925 Richard St. He was a Navy veteran of WW II.
He is survived by his wife, Carolena, at the home; two sons Rodney, Mojave, and Richard, Jr.,Riverside; four sisters, Helen White and Ruth Sigler, both Mojave; Agnes Gade and Carol Phelps, both in Iowa; two brothers, Charles, Mojave; Robert, Iowa; and two half-brothers, Gordon, Alabama, and Ray, Iowa.
The Rev. Bill Y Washburn, First Baptist Church, Mojave, officiated at the 11 a.m. services. Interment was in the Mojave Cemetery. Stickel Mortuaries were in charge of arrangements.
